The idea of ​​offering food to be picked up online during the restrictions caused by the corona pandemic can only be welcomed. The goose package was great, at most too rich for two people. One can only congratulate Tress-Gastronomie for their wealth of ideas. The local cuisine offers regional dishes at a high level and can only be recommended.

We used the pick-up offer at the weekend: - very easy and attractive online reservation - great timing - was also after 10 min. Drive still warm - was very, very tasty - Portion absolutely filling and sufficient!

After a hike in the Glastal to the Wimsner cave, we noticed a sign for the Tress family. Here a restaurant was made tasty for us to end the day. We made a reservation by phone and were already in the mood with a very friendly voice. Arrived too early in the restaurant we were assigned a seat despite the full dining room. What ambience this restaurant offers inside cannot be imagined from the outside. Modernly furnished without obscuring the economic flair. The menu includes dishes that we otherwise only know from the past. Sour tripe, Russian eggs, sausage salad in many variations, also buckwheat thalers and much more that makes it difficult to choose. The service is very attentive and friendly, the boss “lives” her job. We'll hear that quickly. For us it was the culmination of a beautiful day. We will be back.

We were there for the second time, unfortunately only the food was good yesterday and the service was not really good. To be fair, our own young waitress was nice and courteous, but the other lady, clearly annoyed and overwhelmed with her work, always replied unfriendly - not even going to a table, but waving 'goes back there'. On the phone, she also talked to other guests on the phone very irritably and had a brief seizure so that other guests had to smile and say 'she shouldn't take everything so seriously.' Unfortunately, her manner already missed the evening and that from the beginning back. If it hadn't been for my mother-in-law's birthday, we would have gladly waived the reservation. Food was great! But unfortunately the waitress left us with a bitter aftertaste.

Really great. Very friendly service staff, cold beer and good cake. Pay attention to opening times and you should probably make a reservation. Nice beer garden and nice interior. Information boards for the inn can be found on the Danube Cycle Path.

I've been coming to this inn since 1986. So far everything has been very rural but always ok. Before the renovation On our last visit, 6 people: Sausage salad was inedible, probably too long unrefrigerated, children's schnitzel ordered a herb schnitzel for adults, warm beer came a new one, the warm one was charged anyway. Sausage salad was not replaced, still charged. Employee statement: Several sausage salads have already been sold today. Wanted to speak to the boss, she was apparently on short notice. No apologies from the staff. A scoop of ice cream for the child or a schnapps would have been appropriate. All in all: Please revise your menu, accept criticism from guests who are familiar with the gastronomy and the condition of food. Unfortunately, we will not come back and will pass our experience on to our friends. Sorry

Flies are everywhere, which is really annoying and disgusting and it stinks of horses. The food never came and then it wasn't even served at the same time. The waiters looked hectic and are not organized at all. There was also very little choice of food. There was no starter or dessert. The food itself wasn't really tasty either. The food is good for a village.

We were there in the beer garden at lunchtime on a summer Sunday. The food tasted very good. The staff was very friendly. You can also go there with children.

Today we were sitting in the beautiful and very cozy beer garden. But everything looks very cozy inside. The employees are all really friendly and courteous. Our food was delicious, the salads were all fresh. From the beer garden you can see the herb bed. Here someone regularly comes out of the kitchen and plucks for food. That makes you hungry beforehand. All in all, absolutely professional and hospitable. We would love to come back.

The ambience is very nice. It was a good contrast between old and new. The map is not too big and not too small. There is good Swabian food, especially the side salad is very good. However, the soup was a bit too salty and the fries too limp.
